Rickard Vennerkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Sakarias Åkesson made a huge save. Raul Sandalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sakarias Wahlström hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. A collision led to Iggesund getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Otto Isaksson hit a great ball. When Dolan FC's Raul Sandalio in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Iggesund's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Dolan FC booed when Iggesund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sakarias Wahlström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Raul Sandalio made a precise shot to the right of Egon Blom. Iggesund's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With 24 minutes on the clock, Mats Helberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Stefan Molander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dolan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Molander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egon Blom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Iggesund's Sakarias Wahlström got a free kick in the 31st minute. Stefan Molander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egon Blom having to make a save. 41 minutes into the match, Iggesund's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Molander came free, but Egon Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Iggesund's Sven-Åke Bergman got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Stefan Molander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Egon Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kjell-Arne Bergqvist to make the kick off. Stefan Molander let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 52nd minute shot 1-2 at rihgt post. In the 55th match minute, Iggesund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Verner Lundström to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the game, Abd al-Aziz Touhami was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dolan FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iggesund the free kick. After 58 played minutes Dolan FC got a freekick which was hit by Abd al-Aziz Touhami. Iggesund's Egon Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Molander in the 65th minute of play. When Stefan Molander came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Dolan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Molander couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Dolan FC booed when Iggesund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sakarias Wahlström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefan Molander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kjell-Arne Bergqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Egon Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egon Blom was a little too slow when Stefan Molander got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-4. Egon Blom went to the wrong direction when Ove Lundgren was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Stefan Molander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egon Blom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Stefan Molander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Egon Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Dolan FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Iggesund.
