Baptiste Santamaria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ove Rönn in the 6th minute of play forced Elden Ringers's goalkeeper Karl-Axel Skytt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Tage Strand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Axel Skytt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ove Rönn in the 10th minute of play. Elden Ringers's Holger Kalfhage got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Holger Kalfhage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Elden Ringers booed when Denzashow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baptiste Santamaria didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Denzashow getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ivan Ekberg hit a great ball. Elden Ringers's Holger Kalfhage got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Elden Ringers's zone, Björn Strandberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Axel Skytt came out of the goal and Björn Strandberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan-Ove Rönn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Axel Skytt having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ove Rönn in the 38th minute of play forced Elden Ringers's goalkeeper Karl-Axel Skytt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Elden Ringers's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Ove Rönn came free, but Karl-Axel Skytt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Axel Skytt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Ånger, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the game, Jan-Ove Rönn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Karl-Axel Skytt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Karl-Axel Skytt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baptiste Santamaria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nils-Emil Eliasson made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Björn Strandberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denzashow's supporters crossed their fingers, but Björn Strandberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Elden Ringers's Karl-Axel Skytt got control of the ball when Fred Eliasson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nils-Emil Eliasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 minutes, Jens-Ola Kollberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elden Ringers and the Denzashow players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Denzashow booed when Elden Ringers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ola Kollberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Ove Rönn got free with Karl-Axel Skytt in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Elden Ringers getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Nils-Emil Eliasson hit a great ball. Elden Ringers's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Baptiste Santamaria 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. If Baptiste Santamaria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Elden Ringers's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Ove Rönn came free, but Karl-Axel Skytt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denzashow's Baptiste Santamaria got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevin Eliasson during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Denzashow getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Kevin Eliasson hit a great ball. Holger Kalfhage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Denzashow's Jan-Ove Rönn ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Karl-Axel Skytt. Karl-Axel Skytt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Denzashow's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
