An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Ahlquist in the 22nd minute of play forced Elden Ringers's goalkeeper Karl-Axel Skytt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, Heart of a Champion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Michael Gernberg to maneuver through the defense. Holger Kalfhage came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jim Skarkman could save by the left post. After 43 minutes, Robin Bure mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heart of a Champion FC and the Elden Ringers players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Heart of a Champion FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Robin Bure hit a great ball. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Heart of a Champion FC's goalkeeper Jim Skarkman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nils-Emil Eliasson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karl-Axel Skytt made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Lucas Ahlquist sent off a good shot on target. Lucas Ahlquist's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Karl-Axel Skytt firmly grabbed it by the left post. Holger Kalfhage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. The referee showed Egon Wiklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Heart of a Champion FC's Egon Wiklund got a free kick in the 75th minute. Egon Wiklund hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After having played for 83 minutes, Lucas Ahlquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heart of a Champion FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Ahlquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jakob Andreasson kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
