The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, IFK Stockholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hampus Fransson to maneuver through the defense. Hampus Fransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Axel Skytt was a little too slow when Emerson Paraíba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Hampus Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Stockholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Hampus Fransson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Axel Skytt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christopher Wiklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Emil Eliasson in the 22nd minute of the match. Karl-Axel Skytt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hampus Fransson in the 30th minute of play. After 32 minutes Elden Ringers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rickard Hellström who took care of the corner kick. If Casper Sefastsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Oliver Bengtsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Elden Ringers's Nils-Emil Eliasson got a free kick in the 39th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Emerson Paraíba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Axel Skytt. Elden Ringers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emerson Paraíba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Casper Sefastsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Hampus Fransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tage Strand's late challenge caught a IFK Stockholm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tage Strand helped the player get up and apologised. Tage Strand kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Rickard Hellström, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Casper Sefastsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emerson Paraíba charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emerson Paraíba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes IFK Stockholm got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Paraíba. Casper Sefastsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Axel Skytt having to interfere. Elden Ringers's Karl-Axel Skytt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hampus Fransson in the 92nd minute of play. There was no doubt that IFK Stockholm were the better team. IFK Stockholm's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
