Harald Smed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Arvidsson in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, FC Brandstation's goal looked a bit too open when Kim Tidén came free, but Niclas Sundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Algot Aleberg in the 35th minute of play forced Chelsea FC's goalkeeper Harald Smed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Brandstation's zone, Daniel Haraldsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niclas Sundberg came out of the goal and Daniel Haraldsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kim Tidén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Marc Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niclas Sundberg came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Chelsea FC's Daniel Haraldsson. But to his dismay, Daniel Haraldsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to FC Brandstation getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Dario Iraido hit a great ball. Christer Lindman kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Kim Tidén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marc Arvidsson struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Harald Smed didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Brandstation. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kim Tidén in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niclas Sundberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dario Iraido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Smed having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kim Tidén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niclas Sundberg was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Daniel Haraldsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chelsea FC's Harald Smed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Arvidsson in the 83rd minute of play. Niclas Sundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Haraldsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. A collision led to Chelsea FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Kim Tidén hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Iraido during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
