Ian Säv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isak Kristiansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Stig Skålberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Palmkvist had several of the Bottnaryd IFK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ian Säv as he didn't even see the shot coming. Charles Engström in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ian Säv, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jonatan Nyqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Skålberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Iheim getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Lucien Kessler hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Bottnaryd IFK's Staffan Lidström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonatan Nyqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonatan Nyqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Skålberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonatan Nyqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egil Hermansson in the 27th minute of the match. Bertil Vestlund charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bertil Vestlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes Bottnaryd IFK got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Vestlund. Jonatan Nyqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Skålberg in the 41st minute of the match. Egil Hermansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonatan Nyqvist came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Bottnaryd IFK's Egil Hermansson. But to his dismay, Egil Hermansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Charles Engström struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Ian Säv didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iheim.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stig Skålberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Iheim got a freekick which was hit by Lucien Kessler. Staffan Lidström might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonatan Nyqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Staffan Lidström ran back to his position shaking his head. Stig Skålberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonatan Nyqvist made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Egil Hermansson sent off a good shot on target. After 62 minutes of play, Iheim's Emil Palmkvist made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ian Säv was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Charles Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Stig Skålberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonatan Nyqvist. Iheim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig Skålberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 75 minutes into the match, Bottnaryd IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Isak Kristiansson came free, but Ian Säv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles Engström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute of the match Sven-Ove Zander shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ian Säv showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Egil Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Säv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isak Kristiansson in the 89th minute of play. When Iheim's Emil Palmkvist in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bottnaryd IFK's goalie prevented a goal. After 94 minutes of play, Bottnaryd IFK's Bertil Vestlund made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonatan Nyqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Iheim supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bottnaryd IFK's performance. The match ended with a win for Bottnaryd IFK.
