Jonatan Nyqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Ahlén in the 26th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sidensjö's zone, Isak Kristiansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Nordlund came out of the goal and Isak Kristiansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iheim's Charles Engström got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charles Engström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Nordlund having to interfere. Charles Engström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iheim's Emil Palmkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Isak Kristiansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Ahlén was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Isak Kristiansson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christian Nordlund. Jonatan Nyqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Ahlén in the 66th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gert Magnusson during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Iheim booed when Sidensjö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. The Iheim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After some careless play in the Iheim defense, Sebastian Ahlén kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonatan Nyqvist. The Iheim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonatan Nyqvist should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the game, Sidensjö's Gert Magnusson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonatan Nyqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Emil Palmkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Nordlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Despite being the better team, Iheim failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
