Iheim's Charles Engström got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isak Kristiansson in the 23rd minute of play forced Royal FC's goalkeeper Åke Vinström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Nyqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Bergkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Åke Vinström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Palmkvist in the 28th minute of the match. Emil Palmkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Åke Vinström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Palmkvist went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Iheim's Jonatan Nyqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Bergkvist in the 37th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Iheim got a freekick which was hit by Ali Cafer Hinoğlu. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Sonny Lång put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Iheim:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Royal FC:s goal. Iheim:s Jonatan Nyqvist showed great skill when he stopped Martin Klementsson:s penalty. Michael Bergkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Michael Bergkvist made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isak Kristiansson during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Isak Kristiansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Åke Vinström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isak Kristiansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, William Siöman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Royal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Iheim's Jonatan Nyqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Siöman in the 67th minute of play. Emil Palmkvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Åke Vinström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Iheim's Alan Franco shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Åke Vinström but with some difficulty. 77 minutes into the match, Royal FC's goalkeeper Åke Vinström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emil Palmkvist. After 77 played minutes Royal FC got a freekick which was hit by Stellan Viberg. 81 minutes into the match, William Siöman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonatan Nyqvist. Iheim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Siöman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. A collision led to Iheim getting a freekick after 84 minutes play.
