Spectators: 7464 (Terracing: 5599, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kurdiska FF's Fredrik Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Siöman in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Michael Bergkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Royal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 30th match minute, Kurdiska FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Käcker to maneuver through the defense. Knut Asserlind kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, William Siöman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 54th minute, William Siöman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fredrik Lindgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. 58 minutes into the game, Michael Bergkvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fredrik Lindgren. Michael Bergkvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. The supporters of Royal FC booed when Kurdiska FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Granström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th play minute Martin Klementsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fredrik Lindgren. 0-9. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Michael Bergkvist took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Fredrik Lindgren to make any attempt to save it. In the 73rd minute, Martin Klementsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the game, Anton Apelkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Royal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kurdiska FF the free kick. A collision led to Royal FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Anton Apelkvist hit a great ball. Royal FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
