Spectators: 7362 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 15) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Petter Fernström started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Fjärdhundra booed when FC Aspre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Arne Löfgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Robert Skark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Aspre's Krister Sundström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save FC Aspre from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute, Jan-Åke Högman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fjärdhundra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jan-Åke Högman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 15 minutes into the match, Tobias Låsberg notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Fjärdhundra's John Elg. John Elg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Yngve Dalberg fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fjärdhundra's protests and gave Yngve Dalberg a yellow card for diving instead. Yngve Dalberg hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Aspre getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Niclas Aronsson hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Robert Skark managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fjärdhundra's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Skark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krister Sundström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Petter Fernström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fjärdhundra's John Elg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Låsberg in the 28th minute of play. Petter Fernström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Krister Sundström made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in FC Aspre's zone, Yngve Dalberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krister Sundström came out of the goal and Yngve Dalberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Krister Sundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Fernström in the 35th minute of the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Robert Skark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fjärdhundra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Skark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 43 played minutes Fjärdhundra got a freekick which was hit by Yngve Dalberg. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tobias Låsberg made a kick off. When Bengt-Arne Löfgren fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Aspre's protests and gave Bengt-Arne Löfgren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Bengt-Arne Löfgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Aspre's Tobias Låsberg got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan-Åke Högman might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Krister Sundström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Åke Högman ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute, Gunnar Palmquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the game, Fjärdhundra's Petter Fernström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Krister Sundström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 65 minutes into the match, FC Aspre's goal looked a bit too open when Petter Fernström came free, but Krister Sundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Robert Skark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fjärdhundra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Skark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robert Skark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Krister Sundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Fjärdhundra booed when FC Aspre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orvar Broberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. John Rudqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. John Elg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Låsberg in the 78th minute of play. In the 85th minute of the match FC Aspre got a corner. Fjärdhundra's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcus Viklund ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Bo Termander almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fjärdhundra's John Elg did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in FC Aspre's zone, Robert Skark stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krister Sundström came out of the goal and Robert Skark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Aspre's Krister Sundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Fernström in the 91st minute of play. Krister Sundström came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fjärdhundra's John Rudqvist. But to his dismay, John Rudqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Petter Fernström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fjärdhundra's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
