The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hélder Galvão made a kick off. Jan-Åke Högman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Henrik Wickander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Rudqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th match minute, Fjärdhundra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Skark to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Galvão in the 59th minute of play forced Fjärdhundra's goalkeeper John Elg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rönnäng RK's Henrik Wickander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Åke Högman in the 79th minute of play. When Kurt Jonsson fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rönnäng RK's protests and gave Kurt Jonsson a yellow card for diving instead. Kurt Jonsson hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Hélder Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Åke Högman scored 1-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrik Wickander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. John Rudqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrik Wickander having to make a save. Jan-Åke Högman kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fjärdhundra had won after a very even match.
