Harry Ekman stood somewhat misplaced when Helge Böcklund came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 15 minute. Nils-Åke Melander hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 22nd match minute, La Masia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calle Svensson to maneuver through the defense. Harry Ekman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helge Böcklund in the 23rd minute of the match. Krister Fors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Emander, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Helge Böcklund in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harry Ekman saved La Masia from getting behind.

If Helge Böcklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Emander hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 57 minutes, Helge Böcklund made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. La Masia's Harry Ekman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Billy Sjöberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Ekman having to interfere. The Folkes BK fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Folkes BK's Helge Böcklund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 68 minutes into the match, La Masia's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Böcklund came free, but Harry Ekman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Folkes BK's Krister Fors proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Folkes BK from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute, Helge Böcklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
