Spectators: 7451 (Terracing: 5691, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 15) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Helge Böcklund made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Fjärdhundra booed when Folkes BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Åke Stenkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fjärdhundra's John Elg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Böcklund in the 7th minute of play. John Elg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helge Böcklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Krister Fors didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 11th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Billy Sjöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John Elg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isak Göransson's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Helge Böcklund struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. John Elg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Folkes BK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Åke Högman in the 24th minute of play forced Folkes BK's goalkeeper Krister Fors to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes Fjärdhundra got a freekick which was hit by Petter Fernström. 28 minutes into the match, Fjärdhundra's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Böcklund came free, but John Elg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Fjärdhundra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petter Fernström to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petter Fernström got free with Krister Fors in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Fjärdhundra getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jan-Åke Högman hit a great ball.

Helge Böcklund took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John Elg. John Elg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Alf Tholsson's late challenge caught a Fjärdhundra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alf Tholsson helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Folkes BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fjärdhundra:s goal. Krister Fors had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Per-Oskar Wallin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Fjärdhundra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Rudqvist to maneuver through the defense. Fjärdhundra's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Helge Böcklund scored to the left of an out of position John Elg, making the score, 2-2. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Krister Fors showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 81 played minutes Fjärdhundra got a freekick which was hit by Per Sjöö. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, David Hellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Folkes BK's supporters rose to their feet, but David Hellbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Elg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Alf Tholsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. Fjärdhundra made a substitution.
