Spectators: 6830 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 100) Hillareds IF's Mats Vennerkvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lars Kling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Måns Hurtig in the 6th minute of play. Oskar Malmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 minutes, Greger Björk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 666 and the Hillareds IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, 666 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greger Björk to maneuver through the defense. When Oskar Malmgren came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Hillareds IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskar Malmgren couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greger Björk in the 14th minute of play forced Hillareds IF's goalkeeper Lars Kling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olov Hansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rikard Wennerqvist in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Måns Hurtig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lars Kling was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Hillareds IF's goal looked a bit too open when Måns Hurtig came free, but Lars Kling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 666's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Håkan Åman in the 23rd minute. 666's Håkan Åman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lars Kling in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Hillareds IF defense, Greger Björk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lars Kling. The Hillareds IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars Kling should have stopped the shot. 666's Olov Hansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save 666 from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, 666's goalkeeper Olov Hansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Calle Björklund. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Oskar Malmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hillareds IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Oskar Malmgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Hansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Greger Björk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars Kling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Hillareds IF booed when 666 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dick Vennersten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Hillareds IF's Lars Kling proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Hillareds IF from getting a goal against them. Rikard Wennerqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olov Hansson having to make a save. Calle Björklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 666's Måns Hurtig got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of 666 booed when Hillareds IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Jönsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Hillareds IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Greger Björk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Olov Hansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Malmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hillareds IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! If Calle Björklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Greger Björk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Lars Kling made a huge save. 74 minutes into the game, Hillareds IF's Calle Björklund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olov Hansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Tor Abrahamsson charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tor Abrahamsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hillareds IF's Stig Adelsköld was substituted for Stefan Jönsson. After a rather tough play, 666's Tor Abrahamsson got a free kick in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in 666's zone, Mats Vennerkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Hansson came out of the goal and Mats Vennerkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rikard Wennerqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Hansson having to interfere. Olof Ahlén hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes, Calle Björklund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hillareds IF and the 666 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hillareds IF's Calle Björklund got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute, Mats Vennerkvist made a precise shot to the right of Olov Hansson. 666's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Oskar Malmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Olov Hansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Hillareds IF manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing 666 to win.
