When Orvar Abelsson fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bergsfo Bollklubb's protests and gave Orvar Abelsson a yellow card for diving instead. Orvar Abelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Bergsfo Bollklubb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Ersman to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Folke Pihlwall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azerbaijan Land Of Fire's supporters rose to their feet, but Folke Pihlwall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folke Biörling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orvar Abelsson got free with Ulrik Löfkvist in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Folke Biörling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Åke Albohm in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Bergsfo Bollklubb's Demetrio Iori sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulrik Löfkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Orvar Abelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orvar Abelsson scored 1-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulrik Löfkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 41 minutes, Orvar Abelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bergsfo Bollklubb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orvar Abelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Azerbaijan Land Of Fire's goalkeeper Ulrik Löfkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orvar Abelsson to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orvar Abelsson in the 53rd minute of play forced Azerbaijan Land Of Fire's goalkeeper Ulrik Löfkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonny Lindholm during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonny Lindholm hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Folke Pihlwalls short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Folke Biörling to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 66th minute, Orvar Abelsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulrik Löfkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Karl-Åke Albohm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Orvar Abelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulrik Löfkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orvar Abelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th match minute, Azerbaijan Land Of Fire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Ove Berggren to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Orvar Abelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulrik Löfkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig Asserlindh was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 94th minute, Orvar Abelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 96 played minutes Bergsfo Bollklubb got a freekick which was hit by Clem Dalleau. Bergsfo Bollklubb were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
