In the 15th minute Karl-Åke Albohm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Arne Brodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åke Granberg charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Sven-Arne Brodin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Åke Albohm in the 26th minute of the match. Åke Granberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ulrik Löfkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Åke Granberg made a kick off. Birger Anselius charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Azerbaijan Land Of Fire's Karl-Åke Albohm got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Folke Pihlwall took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Arne Brodin. Sven-Arne Brodin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Jonathan Deckbergh's late challenge caught a Borussia Herrhagen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Deckbergh helped the player get up and apologised. Jonathan Deckbergh hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Åke Granberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd match minute, Azerbaijan Land Of Fire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Pihlwall to maneuver through the defense. If Folke Pihlwall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Azerbaijan Land Of Fire fans cheered their team off the field, for while Borussia Herrhagen had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
