With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stellan Kilberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 9 played minutes Kurre Hamrins Akademi got a freekick which was hit by Staffan Ryberg. Staffan Ryberg struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Sven-Arne Brodin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kurre Hamrins Akademi. After having played for 21 minutes, Lucas Klint managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Herrhagen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Klint was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Johan Ahlerot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Kurre Hamrins Akademi's Gert Högberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sven-Arne Brodin. Sven-Arne Brodin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Gert Högberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Arne Brodin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Åke Granberg in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stellan Kilberg saved Kurre Hamrins Akademi from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Gert Högberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sven-Arne Brodin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gert Högberg's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Sven-Arne Brodin came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Kurre Hamrins Akademi's Staffan Ryberg. But to his dismay, Staffan Ryberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 62nd minute Gert Högberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Arne Brodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gert Högberg came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Kurre Hamrins Akademi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gert Högberg couldn't finish the play. Sven-Arne Brodin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gert Högberg's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Sven-Arne Brodin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staffan Ryberg in the 67th minute of the match. Christer Boklund hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Sven-Erik Hagberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Borussia Herrhagen's Sven-Arne Brodin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Högberg in the 84th minute of play. After 92 played minutes Borussia Herrhagen got a freekick which was hit by Freddie Kleen. In the 93rd minute of the match Olle Gadd sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Arne Brodin skillfully saved the ball. There was no doubt that Kurre Hamrins Akademi were the better team. Kurre Hamrins Akademi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
