Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cícero Alagoano made the kick off which started today's match. Cícero Alagoano struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Sven-Arne Brodin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Flames. If Abelardo Quintana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 9th minute Abelardo Quintana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Arne Brodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alf Lindström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christer Boklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abelardo Quintana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Borussia Herrhagen's Sven-Arne Brodin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Borussia Herrhagen from getting a goal against them. Real Flames's Abelardo Quintana got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alf Lindström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Klint, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo Quintana in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Arne Brodin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abelardo Quintana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Arne Brodin having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Jens-Ove Haglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Åke Granberg was the one to do the kick off. Abelardo Quintana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Herrhagen's zone, Abelardo Quintana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Arne Brodin came out of the goal and Abelardo Quintana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Borussia Herrhagen defense, Cícero Alagoano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Arne Brodin. The Borussia Herrhagen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Arne Brodin should have stopped the shot. Abelardo Quintana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Quintana in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Arne Brodin saved Borussia Herrhagen from getting behind. If Cícero Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddie Kleen's late challenge caught a Real Flames's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddie Kleen helped the player get up and apologised. Sven-Arne Brodin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cícero Alagoano in the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th match minute, Borussia Herrhagen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Granberg to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Real Flames fully deserved thier win.
