After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Joakim Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joakim Holmgren got free with Jon Sigfridsson in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 96 minutes, Joakim Holmgren made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. BK Ljungsbro's Jon Sigfridsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Västra Frölunda could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BK Ljungsbro throughout the match.
