Spectators: 7319 (Terracing: 5602, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arvid Petersson made the kick off which started today's match. 10 minutes into the match, Hedared BK's goalkeeper Lennart Sandberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arvid Petersson. 11 minutes into the match, Harald Ståhlberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fredrik Olsmann. Virsbo IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harald Ståhlberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ronny Valrot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Lennart Sandberg made a huge save. Arvid Petersson struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Lennart Sandberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Virsbo IF. In the 27th match minute, Virsbo IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Valrot to maneuver through the defense. Lennart Sandberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvid Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lennart Sandberg made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Ronny Valrot sent off a good shot on target. When Ronny Valrot came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Virsbo IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronny Valrot couldn't finish the play. Virsbo IF's Fredrik Olsmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Bergren in the 37th minute of play. Harald Ståhlberg hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Ludwig Ahlén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Sandberg having to interfere. Ronny Valrot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fredrik Olsmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harald Ståhlberg in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alf Bergren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alf Bergren during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alf Bergren hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the game, Hedared BK's Harald Ståhlberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fredrik Olsmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Arvid Petersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Virsbo IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Arvid Petersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lennart Sandberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Hedared BK's Harald Ståhlberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fredrik Olsmann. That made the score 0-3 after 73 minutes of play. When Virsbo IF's Arvid Petersson in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hedared BK's goalie prevented a goal. Fredrik Olsmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Bergren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Valrot in the 80th minute of play forced Hedared BK's goalkeeper Lennart Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 played minutes Hedared BK got a freekick which was hit by Arne Pilgren. After 81 minutes, Verner Bennet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Virsbo IF and the Hedared BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Virsbo IF getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Verner Bennet hit a great ball. Virsbo IF's Tobias Tham managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pål Valler in the 85 minute of the game. In the 86th match minute, Hedared BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Näfver to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Hedared BK's zone, Arvid Petersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lennart Sandberg came out of the goal and Arvid Petersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th match minute, Virsbo IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Tham to maneuver through the defense. Harald Ståhlberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fredrik Olsmann having to make a save. After 91 minutes, Harald Ståhlberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hedared BK and the Virsbo IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Harald Ståhlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Tobias Tham's late challenge caught a Hedared BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobias Tham helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Tobias Tham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Hedared BK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
