In the 11th minute, Tobias Tham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Virsbo IF's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Klint came free, but Fredrik Olsmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Verner Bennet hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kosova REP.'s goalkeeper Egil Löfskog, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 22 minutes, Ronny Valrot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Virsbo IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronny Valrot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fredrik Olsmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ola Bengtsson in the 29th minute. Robert Klint received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Fredrik Olsmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Virsbo IF got a freekick which was hit by Verner Bennet. After a defensive mix-up in Kosova REP.'s zone, Ronny Valrot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egil Löfskog came out of the goal and Ronny Valrot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

If Ronny Valrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egil Löfskog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvid Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virsbo IF's Fredrik Olsmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvin Björkdahl in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Arvid Petersson made a precise shot to the right of Egil Löfskog. Kosova REP.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 68 played minutes Kosova REP. got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Olofsson. Verner Bennet hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Fredrik Olsmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Olofsson in the 74th minute of the match. Alexander Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Olsmann having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Stefan Termander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fredrik Olsmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 92nd match minute, Virsbo IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Valrot to maneuver through the defense. Fredrik Olsmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexander Olofsson went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score.
