Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jarl Bergfelt ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Oskar Ros in the 9th minute of play forced BK Ljungsbro's goalkeeper Jon Sigfridsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sigvard Enegren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Karl-Oskar Ros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute FC Piçkinder were awarded a corner. Magne Blomqvist went to the cornerflag to take it. FC Piçkinder's Magne Blomqvist was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jon Sigfridsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Karl-Oskar Ros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jon Sigfridsson made a huge save. A collision led to BK Ljungsbro getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Mårten Bergström hit a great ball. Bengt-Rune Sandberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jon Sigfridsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in BK Ljungsbro's zone, Karl-Oskar Ros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Sigfridsson came out of the goal and Karl-Oskar Ros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jarl Bergfelt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half BK Ljungsbro were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Oskar Ros made a kick off. The supporters of BK Ljungsbro booed when FC Piçkinder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Kjellman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, BK Ljungsbro's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Rune Sandberg came free, but Jon Sigfridsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Håkan Vennerlund kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Bengt-Rune Sandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When FC Piçkinder's Karl-Oskar Ros in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BK Ljungsbro's goalie prevented a goal. Jarl Bergfelt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 played minutes, FC Piçkinder's George Kjellman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jon Sigfridsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Piçkinder reached it. Bengt-Rune Sandberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jon Sigfridsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Piçkinder booed when BK Ljungsbro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mårten Bergström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bengt-Rune Sandberg struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Jon Sigfridsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Piçkinder. In the 74th minute, Håkan Vennerlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Nils-Erik Alebeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigvard Enegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Jarl Bergfelt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sigvard Enegren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Nils-Erik Alebeck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sigvard Enegren came out and tried to block the shot, but Nils-Erik Alebeck slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute Karl-Oskar Ros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Sigfridsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BK Ljungsbro's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
