Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hammarby's Erling Öman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Vingåker FF defense, Erling Öman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Håkan Walroth. The Vingåker FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Håkan Walroth should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Erling Öman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hammarby's supporters rose to their feet, but Erling Öman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Håkan Walroth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hammarby's Robert Tinglöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Pil in the 11th minute of play. Daniel Löfkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Hammarby's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Hellsing came free, but Robert Tinglöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Tinglöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Hellsing in the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to Hammarby getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Erik Axelsson hit a great ball. Robert Tinglöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Pil in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Calle Hellsing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Tinglöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hammarby's Robert Tinglöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Hellsing in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute Calle Hellsing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Tinglöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erling Öman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Håkan Walroth skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Vingåker FF getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Oliver Håkansson hit a great ball. Hammarby's Daniel Löfkvist shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 40th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Håkan Walroth but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erling Öman got free with Håkan Walroth in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Morgan Sjögren charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Morgan Sjögren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vingåker FF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Calle Hellsing stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Vingåker FF's goal looked a bit too open when Erling Öman came free, but Håkan Walroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hammarby's Robert Tinglöf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Hammarby from getting a goal against them. When Hammarby's Erling Öman in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vingåker FF's goalie prevented a goal. If Erling Öman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vincent Pil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Robert Tinglöf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Hammarby booed when Vingåker FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Åkesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 played minutes Vingåker FF got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Håkansson. Håkan Walroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melker Lindkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Robert Tinglöf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calle Hellsing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erling Öman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Hammarby's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Hellsing came free, but Robert Tinglöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erling Öman in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Håkan Walroth saved Vingåker FF from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Hellsing in the 84th minute of play forced Hammarby's goalkeeper Robert Tinglöf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredrik Bammerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Robert Tinglöf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hammarby's Karl-Erik Bröms got a free kick in the 90th minute. Vincent Pil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robert Tinglöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calle Hellsing in the 99th minute of play. Hammarby's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
