Södertälje IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Classon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jörgen Wahlnäs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Simon Falk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomas Classon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tage Kleen having to make a save. Orvar Dahlbom scored 0-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tage Kleen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tage Kleen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Classon in the 41st minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomas Classon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakarias Kihlberg in the 51st minute of play forced Södertälje IK's goalkeeper Tage Kleen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vilhelm Ahlrot kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joacim Palm during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Sven-Olof Sandström managed to get in a good position for a shot. TAMANZEV ACADEMY U21's Orvar Dahlbom managed to work through Södertälje IK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Orvar Dahlbom dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. With a little luck, Södertälje IK's Tage Kleen got control of the ball when Thomas Classon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, TAMANZEV ACADEMY U21's Orvar Dahlbom got a free kick in the 81st minute. Södertälje IK made a substitution. Jakob Klack replaced Kalle Wennerqvist. After 82 played minutes TAMANZEV ACADEMY U21 got a freekick which was hit by Orvar Dahlbom. Tage Kleen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jörgen Wahlnäs in the 84th minute. In the 85th match minute, Södertälje IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Verner Boberg to maneuver through the defense. Simon Falk kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Orvar Dahlbom made a precise shot to the right of Tage Kleen. Södertälje IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Thomas Classon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Tage Kleen made a huge save. The Södertälje IK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. TAMANZEV ACADEMY U21 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
