The referee ignored Jonsereds IF's protests and gave Fredric Zachrisson a yellow card for diving instead. Fredric Zachrisson kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Eliasson in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Arne Björklund saved Jonsereds IF from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Peter Göransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Johannes Eliasson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Arne Björklund was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Anders Strömberg kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Eliasson in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Arne Björklund saved Jonsereds IF from getting behind. Karl-Michael Rolfsson struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Sven-Arne Björklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Skoj. Sven-Arne Björklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Eliasson in the 41st minute of the match. Jonsereds IF's Sven-Arne Björklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Eliasson in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half BK Skoj were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Greger Alströmmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Vennerberg having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Jonsereds IF got a freekick which was hit by Josef Viklund. 59 minutes into the match, BK Skoj's goal looked a bit too open when Greger Alströmmer came free, but Olov Vennerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Allan Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Greger Alströmmer scored 1-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olov Vennerberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute, BK Skoj's Casper Abrahamsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Sven-Arne Björklund was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Johannes Eliasson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Johannes Eliasson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. 75 minutes into the game, BK Skoj's Fredrik Hökqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Arne Björklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. BK Skoj's Olov Vennerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Lundin in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Niklas Bergström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jonsereds IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Skoj the free kick. 86 minutes into the game, Johannes Eliasson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven-Arne Björklund. Johannes Eliasson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5.
