When Fred Tinglöv came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Tyringe BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Tinglöv couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Staffan Hagberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Fútbol Club de Pupusas's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Åke Palmquist came free, but Ronny Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Isaksson struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. John Arhenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fútbol Club de Pupusas. 34 minutes into the game, Tyringe BF's Fred Tinglöv nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronny Holmgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 45th minute Staffan Hagberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Holmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Staffan Hagberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Tinglöv made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Fútbol Club de Pupusas's goalkeeper Ronny Holmgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Staffan Hagberg. In the 90th minute, Tyringe BF's Fred Tinglöv dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Caspersson got free with Ronny Holmgren in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 97 minutes, Ronny Holmgren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
