In the 33rd minute Pim van der Velden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egídio Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Nordstedt hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When Hylian's Gerwin Scheerhoorn in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Wallin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Hylian booed when Rundvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Runeberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Filip Bergqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Erik Nordstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rundvik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Nordstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Egídio Veiga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerwin Scheerhoorn in the 90th minute. Gerwin Scheerhoorn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Egídio Veiga made a huge save. Dag Carlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Beckeman having to interfere. Mikael Mårtensson hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
