After 11 minutes of play, Bedragarnas IF's Malte Ahlén made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niklas Pååk was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Bedragarnas IF's zone, Per-Olof Modig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johan Ekström came out of the goal and Per-Olof Modig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bedragarnas IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Rodrigo Montenegro scored to the left of an out of position Johan Ekström, making the score, 1-1. Niklas Pååk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Tillman in the 22nd minute of play. Ernani Mandrak's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Johan Ekström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Bedragarnas IF getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jonas Sundberg hit a great ball. With a little luck, Bedragarnas IF's Johan Ekström got control of the ball when Ernani Mandrak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernani Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Ekström having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Grabbarnagrus's Rodrigo Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johan Ekström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When Anders Norberg came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Grabbarnagrus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anders Norberg couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernani Mandrak to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Per-Olof Modig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Ekström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per-Olof Modig struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Johan Ekström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grabbarnagrus. After 60 minutes, Jonas Sundberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bedragarnas IF and the Grabbarnagrus players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bedragarnas IF getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jonas Sundberg hit a great ball. Johan Ekström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Norberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute, Henning Tunander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anders Norberg in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johan Ekström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Johan Ekström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernani Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Johan Ekström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Grabbarnagrus were the better team. Grabbarnagrus's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
