Aaron Levander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dane Friebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oskar Källberg got free with Wang Cheng in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Frederick Griscti sped through FC Sacramento's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aaron Levander. If Oskar Källberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the FC Sacramento defense, Frederick Griscti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aaron Levander. The FC Sacramento fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aaron Levander should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dane Friebe in the 20th minute of play forced FC Sacramento's goalkeeper Aaron Levander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Dane Friebe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Levander. FC Sacramento's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dane Friebe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 29th minute, Frederick Griscti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Dane Friebe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Levander. FC Sacramento's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dane Friebe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in FC Sacramento's zone, Dane Friebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Levander came out of the goal and Dane Friebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Frederick Griscti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aaron Levander was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Dane Friebe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Levander. FC Sacramento's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dane Friebe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Frederick Griscti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gärsnäs BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederick Griscti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Levander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 48 minutes, Frederick Griscti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gärsnäs BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederick Griscti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Gärsnäs BF were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joakim Olsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Aaron Levander came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gärsnäs BF's Tord Lang. But to his dismay, Tord Lang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. With an all-out effort, Gärsnäs BF's Aaron Levander threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dane Friebe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 67 minutes into the match, FC Sacramento's Joakim Olsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wang Cheng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Olsson in the 68th minute of play forced Gärsnäs BF's goalkeeper Wang Cheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Aaron Levander throw himself and got hold of the ball when George Hägglund in the 76thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When George Hägglund came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Gärsnäs BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Hägglund couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Frederick Griscti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aaron Levander was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. After 86 minutes of play, Gärsnäs BF's Frederick Griscti made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Levander was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st play minute Frederick Griscti came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aaron Levander. 0-10. 95 minutes into the game, Frederick Griscti lined in a short shot 0-11 behind a frustrated Aaron Levander. When the match was over Gärsnäs BF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Sacramento throughout the match.
