Kaj Myhr's late challenge caught a Gärsnäs BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaj Myhr helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th minute, Kaj Myhr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederick Griscti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Forever Råsunda AIK defense, Frederick Griscti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Johan Granberg. The Forever Råsunda AIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Johan Granberg should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the game, Dane Friebe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Karl-Johan Granberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Gärsnäs BF's Frederick Griscti in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Forever Råsunda AIK's goalie prevented a goal. Karl-Johan Granberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dane Friebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Johan Granberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederick Griscti, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mikael Hultman to make the kick off. Frederick Griscti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Granberg having to interfere. Karl-Johan Granberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dane Friebe in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute Frederick Griscti suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. During the 57th minute of the match Kaj Myhr completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kaj Myhr a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 59 played minutes Forever Råsunda AIK got a freekick which was hit by Kaj Myhr. Tord Lang got in the 60th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Karl-Johan Granberg. This was a shot which ended in a score of 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingvar Nyqvist got free with Karl-Johan Granberg in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Ingvar Nyqvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karl-Johan Granberg. The goal made the score 0-5. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Ingvar Nyqvist took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Karl-Johan Granberg to make any attempt to save it. Forever Råsunda AIK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Dane Friebe scored to the left of an out of position Karl-Johan Granberg, making the score, 0-8. Dane Friebe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Johan Granberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. The Forever Råsunda AIK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gärsnäs BF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
