In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Åre IK's goalkeeper Verner Tomasson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Budget FF's attentive Kevin Lundström managed to snatch the ball when Marcus Carlsson made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. In the 71st minute, Junior Messias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Budget FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Budget FF. Morgan Mattsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Verner Tomasson. 0-3. Kevin Lundström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Verner Tomasson made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Tom Svartengren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Budget FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Tom Svartengren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Verner Tomasson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Verner Tomasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Junior Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 97th minute, Kevin Lundström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tom Svartengren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Budget FF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
