Ljungsbro's Pelle Hedkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Ljungsbro from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute, Kent Busk reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pelle Hedkvist. The goal made the score 1-1. 30 minutes into the match, MZ Dream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Lars-Erik Hellström came free, but Gustav Vase reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustav Vase came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ljungsbro's Thor Danielsson. But to his dismay, Thor Danielsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With a little luck, Ljungsbro's Pelle Hedkvist got control of the ball when Freddie Apelkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lars-Erik Hellström made a kick off. Gösta Finnman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Lars-Erik Hellström really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Lars-Erik Hellström succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 66th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Drake in the 70th minute of play forced MZ Dream Team's goalkeeper Gustav Vase to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvar Drake received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gustav Vase came out and tried to block the shot, but Alvar Drake slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 71st minute. In the 75th match minute, MZ Dream Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Rune Hjeltman to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Alvar Drake made a precise shot to the right of Gustav Vase. MZ Dream Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Alvar Drake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Vase having to interfere. When the match was over Ljungsbro could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MZ Dream Team throughout the match.
