Spectators: 7687 (Terracing: 5766, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Håkan Kiempe made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 minutes, Jan-Ove Hägglund made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Åre IK's Verner Tomasson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When FC South Park's Jan-Ove Hägglund in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åre IK's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 12 minutes, Johan Svanberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC South Park's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johan Svanberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Åre IK's Wiktor Boklund got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Jan-Ove Hägglund notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Åre IK's Verner Tomasson. Verner Tomasson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Verner Tomasson came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC South Park's Johan Svanberg. But to his dismay, Johan Svanberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Verner Tomasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sture Böcklund in the 25th minute of play. At last the ball reached Jan-Ove Hägglund at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Åre IK. 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Arne Nordmark during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 31 minutes into the game, one of FC South Park:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Henning Lundhberg had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Håkan Kiempe's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Håkan Kiempe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henning Lundhberg. FC South Park's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Håkan Kiempe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Verner Tomasson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johan Svanberg went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute, Jan-Ove Hägglund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Verner Tomasson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. In the 42nd minute, Johan Svanberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute Sture Böcklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Verner Tomasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Åre IK's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Ove Hägglund came free, but Verner Tomasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludwig Fernström charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ludwig Fernström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Åre IK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ludwig Fernström hit a great ball. Åre IK's Verner Tomasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Svanberg in the 46th minute of play. Verner Tomasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Ove Hägglund in the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johan Svanberg to strike the kick off in the second half. If Johan Svanberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Bergström's late challenge caught a FC South Park's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Bergström helped the player get up and apologised. Johan Svanberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Verner Tomasson made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Valentin Wester ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Verner Tomasson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. In the 63rdth minute of the game Jan-Ove Hägglund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åre IK's Verner Tomasson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Åre IK's Verner Tomasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Åre IK from getting a goal against them. Sture Böcklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The FC South Park fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when FC South Park's Johan Svanberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 72 minutes into the match, FC South Park's Johan Svanberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Verner Tomasson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Ludwig Fernström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Verner Tomasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ove Hägglund in the 75th minute of play. Åre IK's Verner Tomasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Åre IK from getting a goal against them. Sture Böcklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Verner Tomasson was a little too slow when Jan-Ove Hägglund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-10. 84 minutes into the game, FC South Park's Sture Böcklund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Verner Tomasson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-11. Åre IK's Verner Tomasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Åre IK from getting a goal against them. Johan Svanberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Verner Tomasson made a huge save. Verner Tomasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Ove Hägglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Johan Svanberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Verner Tomasson firmly grabbed it by the left post. FC South Park's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
