In the 4th match minute, Hortlax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Liljeström to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute Gösta Finnman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Coja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Ljungsbro's corner Niclas Viklund fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emanuel Coja quite easily take care of the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Ljungsbro's goal looked a bit too open when Wieslaw Gamza came free, but Pelle Hedkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Hortlax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Liljeström to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Coja came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Ljungsbro's Lars-Erik Hellström. But to his dismay, Lars-Erik Hellström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wieslaw Gamza in the 25th minute of play forced Ljungsbro's goalkeeper Pelle Hedkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pelle Hedkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wieslaw Gamza went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Pelle Hedkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alf Nilsson's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Alf Nilsson put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pelle Hedkvist. If Alf Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hortlax's attack was well implemented in the 38th minute, but when Alf Nilsson was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Isac Dărmănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Isac Dărmănescu notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Ljungsbro's Pelle Hedkvist. Pelle Hedkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lars-Erik Hellström struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Emanuel Coja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ljungsbro. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
The wind increased when Alf Nilsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Ljungsbro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvar Drake to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Ljungsbro's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Nilsson came free, but Pelle Hedkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Hortlax's Wieslaw Gamza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pelle Hedkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Gösta Finnman came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Ljungsbro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gösta Finnman couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Alf Nilsson made a precise shot to the right of Pelle Hedkvist. Ljungsbro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Wieslaw Gamza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ljungsbro's goalie and right to Alf Nilsson. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ljungsbro's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Hortlax's Isac Dărmănescu got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ljungsbro's Bengt-Arne Eckegren got a free kick in the 74th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Ljungsbro's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Dărmănescu came free, but Pelle Hedkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ljungsbro's zone, Isac Dărmănescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pelle Hedkvist came out of the goal and Isac Dărmănescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, Ljungsbro's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Dărmănescu came free, but Pelle Hedkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hortlax's Wieslaw Gamza in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ljungsbro's goalie prevented a goal. In the 89th minute Alf Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pelle Hedkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ljungsbro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Isac Dărmănescu was slow to take the kick. During this time Hortlax's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Hortlax's Isac Dărmănescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Pelle Hedkvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Karl Beck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
