Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Pires stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Arne Abrahamsson got free with Alfred Tingelholm in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfred Tingelholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Arne Abrahamsson in the 52nd minute of the match. Blåränderna's Maximiliano Vargas got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 88 minutes, Tor Edberg made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rävlanda IFK's Ivar Månsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tor Edberg took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivar Månsson. Ivar Månsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Blåränderna fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rävlanda IFK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
