Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gustaf Finnman got the match started through his kick off. Ragnar Utfal kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 4th minute of the match, Gustaf Finnman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sakarias Persson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Rävlanda IFK booed when Västra Frölunda IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ragnar Utfal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes Rävlanda IFK got a freekick which was hit by Algot Nordmark. 13 minutes into the match, Rävlanda IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Rosen came free, but Ivar Månsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivar Månsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Verner Vester, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Västra Frölunda IF were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Rävlanda IFK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jon Sigman took the corner. The corner led Västra Frölunda IF's Jon Sigman to fire away a dangerous shot which Ivar Månsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rävlanda IFK's Ivar Månsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verner Vester in the 28th minute of play. Verner Vester took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivar Månsson. Ivar Månsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Martin Melberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivar Månsson came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Västra Frölunda IF's Kevin Rosen. But to his dismay, Kevin Rosen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Kevin Rosen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Håkan Wallengren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When André Pihlwall fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rävlanda IFK's protests and gave André Pihlwall a yellow card for diving instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kevin Rosen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Västra Frölunda IF's Ragnar Rydelius ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ivar Månsson. Ivar Månsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Kevin Rosen might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivar Månsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kevin Rosen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th play minute Verner Vester came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ivar Månsson. 0-4. Ivar Månsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Rydelius in the 67th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Per-Arne Abrahamsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 played minutes Rävlanda IFK got a freekick which was hit by Per-Arne Abrahamsson. Ivar Månsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Rosen, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Västra Frölunda IF's Ragnar Rydelius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivar Månsson. That made the score 0-5 after 74 minutes of play. Kevin Rosen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Kevin Rosen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivar Månsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. After 86 minutes of play, Rävlanda IFK's Gustaf Finnman made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sakarias Persson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kevin Rosen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ivar Månsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
