Ragnar Rydelius might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rutger Mager. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ragnar Rydelius ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Åke Lundgren during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Åke Lundgren kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Kevin Rosen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rutger Mager was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, Autochthonous FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ragnar Rydelius came free, but Rutger Mager reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Västra Frölunda IF's Jon Sigman got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Rutger Mager showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Rosen in the 37th minute of the match. Västra Frölunda IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jon Sigman in the 39th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevin Rosen in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rutger Mager prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Västra Frölunda IF were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Autochthonous FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jon Sigman took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Martin Melberg to score against Rutger Mager in Autochthonous FC's goal. 0-1 after 47 minutes. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Ulf Benet made the kick off in the second half. Kevin Rosen might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rutger Mager. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kevin Rosen ran back to his position shaking his head. When Karl-Erik Pilgren came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Västra Frölunda IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Erik Pilgren couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Kevin Rosen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Autochthonous FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ernst Söderström hit a great ball. Rutger Mager made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Kevin Rosen sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Västra Frölunda IF booed when Autochthonous FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Lundgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernst Söderström kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Kevin Rosen made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 69thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Rutger Mager would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 72 minutes into the match, Autochthonous FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ragnar Rydelius came free, but Rutger Mager reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Kevin Rosen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Västra Frölunda IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevin Rosen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rutger Mager breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Västra Frölunda IF's Karl-Erik Pilgren got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 79 minutes of play, Autochthonous FC's Ulf Benet made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sakarias Persson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ragnar Rydelius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 85 minutes, Kevin Rosen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Västra Frölunda IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Rosen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Ragnar Rydelius reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rutger Mager. The goal made the score 1-2. With a little luck, Autochthonous FC's Rutger Mager got control of the ball when Kevin Rosen tried to sneak it across the goal line.
