But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörgen Axelsson couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pelle Lundblad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rävlanda IFK's goalkeeper Ivar Månsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Rävlanda IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Mira Mela came free, but Ivar Månsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mira Mela scored 4-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivar Månsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mira Mela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivar Månsson came out of the goal and Pelle Lundblad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Mira Mela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivar Månsson. Rävlanda IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mira Mela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Pelle Lundblad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ivar Månsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivar Månsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Björkdahl in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Mira Mela made a precise shot to the right of Ivar Månsson. Rävlanda IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. Mira Mela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Månsson having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Jörgen Axelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute Mira Mela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Månsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pulver City had played much better football throughout.
