The audience thought a goal was coming when David Grep got free with Stig Vidman in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute of the game, Niklas Drake landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Wrexham A.F.C. made a substitution. Max Kilstedt replaced Niklas Drake. A collision led to Åskloster FF getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Joar Damm hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Elof Mellbad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wrexham A.F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Elof Mellbad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig Vidman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rudolf Eliasson kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Sven-Oskar Lundin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Åskloster FF's Stig Vidman didn't even have to move. Per-Oskar Wiberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Paulin went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Rudolf Eliasson kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, Wrexham A.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Oskar Lundin to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Edvin Rolandsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Wrexham A.F.C. booed when Åskloster FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Paulin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig Vidman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Åskloster FF's Roland Björkman was substituted for Rudolf Eliasson. In the 53rd match minute, Wrexham A.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Klementsson to maneuver through the defense. Björn Sundberg hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. A collision led to Wrexham A.F.C. getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Sven-Oskar Lundin hit a great ball. Åskloster FF's Stig Vidman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Nordlander in the 66th minute of play. Wrexham A.F.C. were furious when Bo Vinström was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Wrexham A.F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Åskloster FF:s goal. The goalkeeper, Per-Oskar Wiberg, was totally fooled by Åskloster FF's Sebastian Håkansson, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Martin Paulin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd match minute, Åskloster FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Björkman to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Oskar Lundin kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After 86 played minutes Åskloster FF got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Axel Ahlqvist. When Martin Paulin came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Åskloster FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Paulin couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Nordlander in the 96th minute of play forced Åskloster FF's goalkeeper Stig Vidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åskloster FF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
