After a rather tough play, Höjden BK's Bo-Erik Trillkott got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 41st match minute, Åskloster FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elof Molin to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Ove Ivarsson was the one to do the kick off. If Karl-Axel Ahlqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Åskloster FF's Karl-Axel Ahlqvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivar Mårtensson. That made the score 2-3 after 61 minutes of play. Stig Vidman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Ove Ivarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Åskloster FF getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Karl-Axel Ahlqvist hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the game, Höjden BK's Sven-Ove Ivarsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stig Vidman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Johnny Håkansson hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. When Sven-Ove Ivarsson got free in front of the goal in the 76th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Stig Vidman was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Karl-Axel Ahlqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Sven-Ove Ivarsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig Vidman was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the match, Sven-Ove Ivarsson notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Åskloster FF's Stig Vidman. Stig Vidman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 94 played minutes Höjden BK got a freekick which was hit by Fred Sandberg.
