In the 17th match minute, Sunne BFasd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Östen Sandberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute Peter Gråberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Pilberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valter Pilberg was a little too slow when Peter Gråberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. Valter Pilberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Vestberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Sunne BFasd. Christer Tinglöv stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Valter Pilberg. 2-0. Valter Pilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Tinglöv in the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Wrexham A.F.C. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Edvin Rolandsson hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Christer Tinglöv got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elof Mellbad made a kick off. Herman Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvin Rolandsson in the 59th minute of the match. Elof Mellbad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Herman Ivarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Carl Ström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wrexham A.F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Despite being the better team, Wrexham A.F.C. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
