The score was now 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, AIK's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulrik Melin. 14 minutes into the match, AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Ferruccio Stella came free, but Édouard Mendy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Münir Akdemir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AIK's Édouard Mendy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 15 minutes, Gunnar Ek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AIK and the Skene FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AIK getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Gunnar Ek hit a great ball. Édouard Mendy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Hug in the 60th minute of play. Skene FK's Iman Younghusband proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Skene FK from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the match, AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Axel Bergstedt came free, but Édouard Mendy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Édouard Mendy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Hug in the 69th minute of the match. Édouard Mendy came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Skene FK's Ulrik Melin. But to his dismay, Ulrik Melin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 89th match minute, AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Åkesson to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Ulrik Melin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Édouard Mendy. AIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulrik Melin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Édouard Mendy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferruccio Stella, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. AIK's Édouard Mendy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Hug in the 96th minute of play. Skene FK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
