Frans Koch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christos Tzolis, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. After a rather tough play, BK Södra's Rickard Örnberg got a free kick in the 4th minute. Stiliyan Bisharov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute BK Södra were awarded a corner. Börje Blomberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Björn Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans Koch having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Kevin Murray notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of BK Södra's Maximino Totakoxe. Maximino Totakoxe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frank Kunze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Maximino Totakoxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximino Totakoxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Kunze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Elvison Presley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Kunze in the 36th minute of play forced BK Södra's goalkeeper Maximino Totakoxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Jonas Wenerdahl recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Frans Koch. Jonas Wenerdahl showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Royal Excel Mouscron's Kevin Murray got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Royal Excel Mouscron's goal looked a bit too open when Christos Tzolis came free, but Frans Koch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Frank Kunze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Totakoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Royal Excel Mouscron booed when BK Södra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Björkqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Royal Excel Mouscron's Frans Koch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christos Tzolis in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Christos Tzolis notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Royal Excel Mouscron's Frans Koch. Frans Koch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 64 minutes into the match, Jonas Wenerdahl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frans Koch. Royal Excel Mouscron's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Wenerdahl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Christos Tzolis might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frans Koch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christos Tzolis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute, Jonas Wenerdahl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frans Koch was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 74th minute, Björn Holmgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BK Södra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. With a little luck, BK Södra's Maximino Totakoxe got control of the ball when Frank Kunze tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maximino Totakoxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristoffer Unesson in the 78th minute of play. Melker Lundblad's late challenge caught a BK Södra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melker Lundblad helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Melker Lundblad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Wenerdahl scored 7-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frans Koch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th minute, Henry Björkqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per Hägg lost his temper 89 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for BK Södra! Maximino Totakoxe had in the 92ndth minute some difficulties stopping Stiliyan Bisharov's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Kevin Murray charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Murray the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kevin Murray hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that BK Södra were the better team. BK Södra's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
