Kalle Björk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Çetin Garipoğlu went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Celsius BCAA's goalie and right to Çetin Garipoğlu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Celsius BCAA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 27 minutes into the match, Slussfors IK's goalkeeper Göran Ahlroht had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrzej Olejasz. In the 32nd minute of the match, Kenny Lindgren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Göran Ahlroht was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Göran Ahlroht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Olejasz in the 33rd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Filip Mititel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Göran Ahlroht. Slussfors IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filip Mititel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Isaksson was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute of the match Celsius BCAA got a corner. Slussfors IK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hubert Waller ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Kenny Lindgren at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Slussfors IK. 2-1. In the 65th minute Felix Stor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göran Ahlroht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Çetin Garipoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Çetin Garipoğlu struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Kalle Björk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slussfors IK. Tom Wallander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Kalle Björk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Slussfors IK's zone, Filip Mititel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göran Ahlroht came out of the goal and Filip Mititel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Slussfors IK's Göran Ahlroht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Mititel in the 86th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Celsius BCAA's Filip Mititel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Göran Ahlroht made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 96 minutes into the match, Slussfors IK's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Karlsson came free, but Göran Ahlroht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Celsius BCAA were the better team. Celsius BCAA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
