In the 9th minute Niclas Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Söderqwist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robin Olsen made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Sixten Larsson sent off a good shot on target. Roger Pil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jim Håkansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Björn Söderqwist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Björn Söderqwist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jim Håkansson's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Haymakers FC were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Kungsgården FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Johannes Kvarnström took the corner. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Egil Byström during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Haymakers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Byström to maneuver through the defense. The Haymakers FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Haymakers FC's Jim Håkansson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Björn Söderqwist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Håkansson in the 35th minute of play. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Jim Håkansson sped through Kungsgården FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Björn Söderqwist. Torsten Ekelund kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sixten Larsson made a kick off. Björn Söderqwist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Håkansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Björn Söderqwist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Håkansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Kungsgården FF's Nils-Emil Bergström got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 60 played minutes Haymakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Olof Blomkvist. Hampus Samuelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Olsen having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Jim Håkansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Haymakers FC's Jim Håkansson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. After some careless play in the Kungsgården FF defense, Roger Pil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Björn Söderqwist. The Kungsgården FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Björn Söderqwist should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute, Kurt Ahlbeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kurt Ahlbeck fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haymakers FC's protests and gave Kurt Ahlbeck a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kungsgården FF booed when Haymakers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Ahlbeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jim Håkansson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Björn Söderqwist 79 minutes into the match. Roger Pil hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Jim Håkansson in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Björn Söderqwist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Björn Söderqwist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Håkansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 88thth minute of the game Roger Pil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kungsgården FF's Björn Söderqwist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Kurt Ahlbeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 minutes of play, Haymakers FC's Kurt Ahlbeck made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Björn Söderqwist was left in no man's land by his defense there!
