In the 16th minute of the match Hallstahammar IK got a corner. Celsius BCAA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alexei Karamazov ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Alexei Karamazov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Celsius BCAA's Kalle Björk did a great save. When Stig-Arne Åkesson fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Celsius BCAA's protests and gave Stig-Arne Åkesson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Celsius BCAA's Stig-Arne Åkesson got a free kick in the 17th minute. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Alexei Karamazov put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kalle Björk. 21 minutes into the match, Hallstahammar IK's Alexei Karamazov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kalle Björk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kalle Björk made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Alexei Karamazov sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Sidoro got free with Kalle Björk in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute of the match Hallstahammar IK got a corner. Celsius BCAA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alexei Karamazov ran over to the corner to take the kick. Celsius BCAA's Kalle Björk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Celsius BCAA from getting a goal against them. Joseph Svartengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Karlsson in the 31st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hallstahammar IK's zone, Filip Mititel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joseph Svartengren came out of the goal and Filip Mititel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luciano Sidoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexei Karamazov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Kalle Björk made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 52nd minute of the match Celsius BCAA got a corner. Hallstahammar IK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hubert Waller ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hubert Waller made a great header on Celsius BCAA's corner, it was just that Hallstahammar IK's Joseph Svartengren managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Celsius BCAA's goalkeeper Kalle Björk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luciano Sidoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erik Browall hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Ştefan Deșliu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kalle Björk. Celsius BCAA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ştefan Deșliu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Joseph Svartengren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michael Karlsson in the 83rd minute. Filip Mititel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Joseph Svartengren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kirk Liddle kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Celsius BCAA made a substitution. Kristoffer Ahlström replaced Gustav Österlund. Celsius BCAA made a substitution. Marcus Vestberg replaced Hubert Waller. After 90 played minutes Hallstahammar IK got a freekick which was hit by Kirk Liddle. Filip Mititel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Hallstahammar IK's goalkeeper Joseph Svartengren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Mititel. Celsius BCAA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
