Spectators: 7663 (Terracing: 5748, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) Gunnarskog IFK's Torsten Rosendahl started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute of the match Gunnarskog IFK got a corner. Haymakers FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastian Josefsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Gunnarskog IFK's Sebastian Josefsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Robin Olsen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Torsten Rosendahl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robin Olsen. Haymakers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torsten Rosendahl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Rosendahl in the 14th minute of play forced Haymakers FC's goalkeeper Robin Olsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Kurt Ahlbeck recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valeriu Antohi. Kurt Ahlbeck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Valeriu Antohi was a little too slow when Roger Pil got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 2-2. The supporters of Gunnarskog IFK booed when Haymakers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Jernberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Albom in the 25th minute of play forced Haymakers FC's goalkeeper Robin Olsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Jan-Olof Albom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robin Olsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Valeriu Antohi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Haymakers FC's Stig-Åke Nyman got a free kick in the 31st minute. Robin Olsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Albom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Billy Jernberg fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haymakers FC's protests and gave Billy Jernberg a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torsten Rosendahl in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robin Olsen saved Haymakers FC from getting behind. Robin Olsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Albom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Haymakers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Boström came free, but Robin Olsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnarskog IFK's Valeriu Antohi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Olof Mogren in the 43rd minute of play. Gunnarskog IFK's Valeriu Antohi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Gunnarskog IFK from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the match, Haymakers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Boström came free, but Robin Olsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Haymakers FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gunnarskog IFK were winning 2-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jim Håkansson was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Torsten Rosendahl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robin Olsen was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Roger Pil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 53 minutes into the match, Gunnarskog IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Pil came free, but Valeriu Antohi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Haymakers FC's Robin Olsen got control of the ball when Robert Boström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven-Olof Mogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valeriu Antohi having to interfere. Valeriu Antohi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Pil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valeriu Antohi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Olof Mogren in the 72nd minute of play. In the 80th minute Kurt Ahlbeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valeriu Antohi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valeriu Antohi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Ahlbeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haymakers FC's Robin Olsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Haymakers FC from getting a goal against them. Oskar Godholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valeriu Antohi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Pil in the 90th minute of the match. Gunnarskog IFK played a much better game than Haymakers FC and deserved their victory. The Haymakers FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
