In the 7th minute Ulrik Nordlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mårten Ekström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmund Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Kolleris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Al-Norr's Mårten Ekström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulrik Nordlund in the 16th minute of play. Urban Lindberg hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrik Nordlund in the 22nd minute of play forced Al-Norr's goalkeeper Mårten Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Mattsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Kolleris in the 26th minute of the match. Edmund Mattsson came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Al-Norr's Dimitris Kolleris. But to his dismay, Dimitris Kolleris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 35 played minutes Al-Norr got a freekick which was hit by Dimitris Kolleris. Mårten Ekström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Åke Aronsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Al-Norr's Dimitris Kolleris in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dåsens IF's goalie prevented a goal. After 45 minutes of play, Dåsens IF's Ulrik Nordlund made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mårten Ekström was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Al-Norr booed when Dåsens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urban Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Dimitris Kolleris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Al-Norr's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitris Kolleris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Dimitris Kolleris made the kick off in the second half. Dåsens IF's Edmund Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Mendez in the 55th minute of play. If Reine Kvalfält had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Al-Norr's Mårten Ekström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Al-Norr from getting a goal against them. Edmund Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Kolleris in the 75th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulrik Nordlund got free with Mårten Ekström in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dimitris Kolleris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Edmund Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Al-Norr made a substitution. Fredric Collin replaced Paulino Mendez. In the 81st minute Dennis Pihl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulrik Nordlund struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Mårten Ekström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dåsens IF. A collision led to Al-Norr getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Björn Rönn hit a great ball. The supporters of Dåsens IF booed when Al-Norr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Rönn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Al-Norr succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Dåsens IF had controlled the match.
