The Ödeshög fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patric Linquist should have stopped the shot. Ödeshög's Hans Elg suffered a concussion in the 13th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 13 minutes into the game, Christian Waller was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Al-Norr's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ödeshög the free kick. In the 14th minute, Christian Waller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Paulino Mendez came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Al-Norr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulino Mendez couldn't finish the play. Ödeshög's Patric Linquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Waller in the 20th minute of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Dimitris Kolleris who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ödeshög's Patric Linquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 41st play minutes Dimitris Kolleris shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Patric Linquist and just under the crossbar into goal. 44 minutes into the match, Ödeshög's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Waller came free, but Patric Linquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ödeshög's Jimmy Emander got a free kick in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the game, Al-Norr's Dimitris Kolleris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patric Linquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Patric Linquist made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Dennis Pihl sent off a good shot on target. Paulino Mendez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Patric Linquist made a huge save. In the 62nd minute, Al-Norr's Dimitris Kolleris ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patric Linquist. Patric Linquist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Patric Linquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulino Mendez in the 68th minute. When Dimitris Kolleris came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Al-Norr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitris Kolleris couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Al-Norr's Fredric Collin got a free kick in the 73rd minute. A collision led to Ödeshög getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Olov Dahlgren hit a great ball. Fredric Collin came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Patric Linquist could save by the left post. In the 77th minute, Al-Norr's Dennis Pihl ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patric Linquist. Patric Linquist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Al-Norr made a substitution. Björn Rönn replaced Christian Waller. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Rönn in the 90th minute of play forced Ödeshög's goalkeeper Patric Linquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Ödeshög's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Kolleris came free, but Patric Linquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ödeshög's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Dennis Pihl scored to the left of an out of position Patric Linquist, making the score, 0-11. Dennis Pihl came free with the goalkeeper in the 99th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Patric Linquist could save by the left post. Al-Norr's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
