David Ekenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Kolleris, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. David Ekenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Mendez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Paulino Mendez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Ekenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Paulino Mendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimitris Kolleris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. David Ekenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimitris Kolleris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Ekenberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimitris Kolleris in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Ekenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 27 played minutes Ödskölt FK got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Stephansson. When Al-Norr's Paulino Mendez in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 36 minutes, Dimitris Kolleris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Al-Norr's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitris Kolleris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Ekenberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 42 minutes into the game, Jan-Ove Söderlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ödskölt FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Al-Norr the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ödskölt FK's Jan-Ove Söderlund got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After the first half Al-Norr were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the match, Dimitris Kolleris dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Ekenberg, 0-4. Dimitris Kolleris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but David Ekenberg made a huge save. If Paulino Mendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Dimitris Kolleris made a precise shot to the right of David Ekenberg. Ödskölt FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Paulino Mendez in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of David Ekenberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 65th play minutes Dennis Pihl shot 0-6, a short shot which went by David Ekenberg and just under the crossbar into goal. Dimitris Kolleris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Ekenberg having to interfere. Al-Norr made a substitution. In the 78th minute Michael Björklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mårten Ekström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimitris Kolleris had several of the Ödskölt FK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 82 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed David Ekenberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. Al-Norr's Dimitris Kolleris got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
